The catalogue lists a copy of Le Livre des Trois Vertus, or the Books of Three Virtues by Christine de Pizan, the court writer for King Charles VI of France in the thirteenth century. It also includes illuminated manuscript from Horae Beatae Mariae Virginis, or The Book of Hours, which was a personal prayer book. In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, a little worn. The front wrap is detached, and both the front and rear wraps are rather foxed. Internally, generally firmly bound. Whilst the plates are bright and clean, the text pages are lightly foxed. Fair .
