¶ Well illustrated photographic survey of the restored buildings of Williamsburg. The old area of the town was restored to who is would have looked in 1780 with all traces of later buildings removed. Some buildings were rebuilt & the whole was intended as a living museum. The project was funded by J D Rockefeller.
