Written by Douglas Dewar, a barrister, British civil servant in India, and ornithologist who wrote several books about Indian birds. Illustrated by Eric Fitch Daglish, a British engraver and author. In the original green cloth binding. Externally, sound with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Minor loss to the head of the spine and edges. Joints starting but firm. Fading to the spine and the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot. Good . Ill.: E. Fitch Daglish. Good .
