Aflalo, editor of the Encyclopaedia of Sport and many other works on angling and sport. Containing six full page illustrated plates based off paintings by Charles Whymper. Collated, and lacking two plates. Containing the bookplate of a previous owner to the front pastedown. A scarce work. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with some light shelf wear and minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. A previous owner's bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, binding is loosening in places. The odd bit of age-toning, offsetting, and light spotting to the first and last few pages, otherwise pages are generally bright and clean throughout.
