Veronica Stallwood is a British author who lives near Oxford, and is most famous for her crime fiction creation, Kate Ivory, a novelist turned amateur detective. Veronica was brought up in London and around the eastern Mediterranean, attending numerous schools - English, American and French - acquiring little by way of formal education but much experience of other people and cultures. Writing came much later, once her 'family responsibilities had diminished&apos. Death and the Oxford Box is the first in the Kate Ivory series. In a cloth binding in the original dustwrapper. The binding is tight and firm. There is some very slight wear to the extremities, including some bumping. The dust wrapper has one very small closed tear.
