Baltimore, Fielding Lucas, 1816. Hardcover. Contemporary calf, worn but solid. Spine label scuffed but readable. Moderate foxing throughout, including the maps. The fold-out maps of the world and of North America (colored) each have one old short tear, unobtrusively mended with paper reinforcement on the back. The fold-out map of the solar system has an unmended marginal tear. The first two maps have minor mis-folds, but all are presentable. Previous owners' names on front blank ("Helen D"), on title page (James L. Owens?), and on fore-edge ("N. Brown"). Some faint pencilling on front blanks, but otherwise a complete, clean and tight copy of a very scarce book. Photo on request. 359p. .
