Halifax, Milner and Sowerby 1858 . 120x80mm Blue blindstamped cloth with gilt basket of flowers to cover & gilt decoration and title to spine [rubbed with corners slightly worn] All Edges Gilt 160pp name to pastedown some foxing/browning but mainly just grubby. However the text is in good condition. Lacks rear free endpaper. The Basket of Flowers is one of the author's most well known works but the tale of Lewis May is much less well known and harder to find. Both stories have moral and religious content.
