Full blue morocco, gilt tooling, top edge gilt, in bright condition, contents clean, handmade paper with 6 double and 5 single page illustrations by Lubbock, produced through a process of etching and aquatint with hand colour, number 31 from an edition of 85, signed, small printed note by John Mason relating to the paper used, loosely inserted. Housed in a matching leather and marbled paper covered slip case, which is slightly rubbed at the edges. The first three Lubbock's books were published by The Twelve By Eight Press with Bertram Rota involved in the distribution, subsequent books were produced by The Rampant Lion Press. Very Good.
