Hardcover, bound in full brown calf titled between gilt bands on the spine. The covers are rubbed & scuffed with chipping to the tail of the spine and top inner corner of the front cover. The leather is split along the front joint and the rear cover is detached. Pages [i]-vii, [2], 10-235, & [3],illustrated with a frontispiece. There is an error in paging, page 144 is numbered 194. The pages are slightly toned with some offsetting and occasional foxing and a few page corners are creased. Good.
