Englische Handschrift auf Pergament. Mit zwei geprägten, amtlichen Londoner Papiersiegeln mit Stempeln von August 1856 im linken oberen Rand, sowie mit drei Lacksiegeln von George, Samuel und Thomas Dotchin am unteren Rand, dazu jeweils deren eigenhändige Unterschriften. - Dekorative viktorianische Urkunde von bemerkenswerter Grösse, sorgfältiger kalligraphischer Gestaltung in brauner Tinte, sowie umständlicher Formulierung im feinsten Juristen-Englisch der Zeit, wie es ein deutscher Advokat auch nicht besser hinbekommen hätte. Es geht kurzgesagt um die Aufteilung eines Erbes, bestehend aus Mietshäusern in den angegebenen Strassen, die unter die Erben aufgeteilt werden. Auf der Rückseite finden sich weitere handschriftliche Einträge, darunter der Notariatsvermerk des beurkundenden Juristen, der am Trafalgar Square residierte, eine Kurznotiz zum Inhalt der Urkunde, sowie ein weiteres, kleines Papiersiegel mit der Königskrone, Ziffern sowie dem Monogramm und den Initialen "VR" (Victoria Regia, das ist Queen Victoria).
