There are photos illustrating his method of punch cutting and matrix making, and views of his famous Cherryburn Press. Robert Hunter Middleton (1898-1985) was an American book designer, painter, and type designer. Born in Glasgow, Scotland he came to Chicago in 1908 where he studied at the School of the Art Institute.
