Exploring coastal towns of Britain through as series of black and white photographs accompanied by descriptive notes, with illustrations printed in the text. Including depictions of idyllic places such as Bournemouth, Dunoon, Minehead, Brighton, Hastings, and many others.  In the original publisher's half calf binding. With shelf wear and considerable rubbing and marking to spine and extremities, particularly to rear board. Damp marks to front and rear boards. Joints rubbed and scuffed, loss to head of spine. Hinges slightly strained, holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. P. 143-4 detached but present. Pages bright and clean, lightly cockled throughout due to damp, affecting particularly pp. 261-284 and rear endpapers, which which are also chipped and stained to the lower right corner, affecting only small parts of text.
