Souvenir from the Hotel Belle-Vue et de Flandre, printed with both French and English text. With a preface and a general history of the city of Brussels, itineraries, and a detailed schedule of a tour of the City each building, monument, or important place described. This volume provides a step-by-step tour guide of Brussels starting from the Hotel, with a list of recommendable shops and manufactories, a plan, and a map of Brussels. Illustrated with thirty-seven full page plates and a large folding map to the rear printed to the verso and the recto, as well as plans in text throughout. Advertisements to the rear.Acquired from the sale of Paul Gallico's library, American novelist and short story and spots writer, best remembered for The Snow Goose and The Poseidon Adventure.
