Calligraphic presentation letter or testimony in German, dated February 1778. A certain Johann Weisbart von Burg Farnbach [Johann Weißbart von Burgfarrnbach] is presented by his employer as a skilled gardener, who has worked in his premises for one year. The first four lines are a great exercise of calligraphy, and the last five are less readable.Beside the signature is a wax seal with initials LPG within an anchor: Leonhard Paul Grundberg.A decorative image on the bottom left: a garden Caryatid with a basket of fruit on her head.[NL] Kalligrafie, calligrafie getuigschrift voor Duitse tuinman Von Burg Farnback.
