Complete in four volumes. Uniformly bound in half calf, with marbled boards.Illustrated throughout with engravings and cuts, including six plates to Volume I; seven to Volume II; five to Volume III and ten to Volume IV, one being hand-coloured. Collated, complete. A comprehensive encyclopedia that covers an array of topics relating to domestic and rural life, including agriculture, cooking, medicine, household management, health and much more. Written by German medical writer, Anthony Florian Madinger Willich, who specialised in diet, nutrition and other aspects of personal medicine. Uniformly bound in half calf, with marbled boards. Externally, with rubbing to the extremities, notably to the boards of Vol IV and II. With loss of leather to the spines of Vols II and III. Front board of Vol III and rear board of Vol II at risk of detaching with further handling. Front board of Vol II is tender.
