FIRST EDITION. 2 volumes. 12mo. pp. vii [viii - xxiv Contents], 261 [262 adverts]; [xii], 274, one engraved plate in volume 1, hideously rebound in totally unsuitable and undescribable plastic of some sort (I don't want to know what it is); title-pages and last page of text soiled. A translation of Nouveaux memoirs, pour servir a l'histoire de l'esprit et du cur which Boyer (1703 - 1771) published in 1746. ESTC 113949 locates only the BL copy in these islands, but 10 copies in North American libraries: CaOTU, CtY-BR, CSmH, CU-A, DLC, ICU, MH, PPL, and SSL.
