Brown, Roger J., interview with a modern master by Edward Gillies,
The Creation of Adoration by Andrea Della Robbia.
River Shore Ltd., (1978). G. 15th century Florence was the bud & blossom of the Renaissance which nurtured the Della Robbias. They applied their artistic. genius to the adornment of cathedrals, public buildings, and the homes of wealthy Florentines. Few have survived but The Adoration became the symbol of an entire artistic age. Tanned at edges.
