This uniform set offers two classic Mrs. Beeton titles from the "All About It" series, including one on gardening and one on cookery. Arranged alphabetically, they serve as an encyclopedic handbook to recipes, tools, preparation, seasonal guides and more. In the original cloth bindings. Isabella Beeton was an English journalist, editor and writer best known for her 'Book of Household Management', which acted as an extensive guide to running a household in Victorian Britain.Both of the volumes included here are illustrated throughout with in-text engravings, as well as two colour plates to the beginning of 'Cookery&apos. With eighteen pages of advertisements to the rear of 'Gardening' and fourteen pages of advertisements to the rear of 'Cookery&apos.
