''A la lecture des Nuits d'Young, l'homme sent les facultés de son âme se développer, les nuages répandue sur la nature de son existence se dissipent, et il y apprend, de la façon la plus consolante, ce qu'il est et ce qu'il doit espérer être. Ce livre traduit de l'anglais est pareil à un volcan, qui, en répandant au loin la flamme la plus vive, a encore la force de l'attraction. Qu'on s'en approche, bientôt, on s'y précipite, avec ce désir qui commande à la volonté.
