Previous owner"s bookplate to the front paste down of Padua. Stamp to the verso of the title page of Lucca. Uniformly bound in the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with a little cockling to the cloth and the odd faint mark. Small bump to the top of the rear board of "Constantinople". Front board is slightly warped and spine is cocked to "Avignon". Front hinge is starting to 'Cambridge' and "Lucca" but remains firmly held. Internally, firmly bound.
