Caslon in copies, original Hermitage halfcalf with giltlettering on spine, Cockerell marbled green paper over boards, corners tipped in vellum, untrimmed and largely unopened, quarto. = One of the most imprtant works printed at the Shakespeare Head Press of Oxford. With full and beautiful printings of The Shepheardes Calender and The Faerie Queene together with shorter works as Daphnaida, Epithalamion, Astrophel, Colin Clouts Come Home Againe and A Vewe of the Present State of Ireland. Spines somewhat darkened and occasionally slightly rubbed (volume 5 more seriously worn on spine). Internal condition practically as new.

Limited edition of 1,000 copies with an illustrated facsimile of a 1904 prospectus in a sleeve at the rear. Very good .
