Corbet, A.S. & H.M. Pendlebury
The butterflies of the Malay Peninsula. Second edition revised by A. Steven Corbet and edited by N. D. Riley.
1956 (2nd ed.) x, 537 p., 55 plates including the frontispiece (of which eight in full colour), original green cloth with gilt title on the spine and gilt vignette on the front board. Armorial bookplate of H. Hamilton Beamish on the front pastedown, free endpapers and title page very slightly spotted, otherwise a very good clean copy. The first edition was published in 1934 and this is the second, much enlarged edition with many new data and corrections to the systematical parts. The work is still very useful in identifying the varied and often spectacularly coloured species from the Malayan region once studied by Wallace and Distant. Plate 2-21 show the genitalia of 342 different species, and the wings of 322 different specimens are shown on the black and white plates.

Johansson, Henry J. / McHugh, Patrick / John Pendlebury, A. / Wheeler III, William A.
BUSINESS PROCESS REENGINEERING. Breakpoint Strategies for Market Dominance.
New York, John Wiley & Sons, 1993. 1st edition 241 pp. hardcover with dustjacket. To become dominant in todays marketplace, companies must reinvent their operations; but how? In this book, four internationally recognized experts from Coopers & Lybrandï’s manufacturing consultancy explain how to go beyond the old way of thinking beyond functional silos, cost cutting, even the simple notion of teamwork to create a new core business process oriented company. A core business process is one that cuts across boundaries, functions and departments. By focusing on the effectiveness of core business processes, and pulling supporting processes and resources to those core business processes, companies can streamline operations and inevitably cut costs without making arbitrary head count decisions. By reading the market to see which core business processes can produce results beyond what the market knows is possible, a company can find a BreakPoint, an opportunity that will cause a disproportionate reaction in the marketplace and pull the company into a leadership position. Name first endpaper. Otherwise very nice and clean copy
