As well as commentary on his contemporaries. Written by Howard Millar Nixon, a British librarian at the British Museum then Librarian of Westminster Abbey and historian of bookbinding. From the library of Christopher Foyle, a British philanthropist and the chairman of the famous Foyle's Bookshop in London. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, excellent.
