These included almonds, apples, chestnuts, cucumbers, melons, ulberrys, pomegranates, quinces, and more.Written by Charles M'Intosh, or McIntosh, who was the head gardener to the Duke of Buccleuch at Dalkeith.Collated, complete.A reprint, title page dated 1839, the engraved title dated 1847. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Torn label to the spine. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities, with a small tear to the head of the rear joint. Spine is a little faded. A few light marks to the boards. Front hinge is a little strained but remains firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the occasional spot and handling mark. Stamp and label to the title page. Good .
