Paste-downs in a variation of the front board covers. Each is numbered 128 of a limitation of 300 on its colophon and housed in a matching 8 x 6.2cm chitsu with clasp and printed title slip flush left. By stencil artist Kamizaki Sunao かみざきすなほ (also Kanzaki Onjun, Kanzaki Sunao 神﨑温順) (1932 - ). Stencil art ex libris on heavy paper with "ABC Ex Libris" within a green and white design on the front board. 3 small volumes with the title ABC 宛字書票 Ateji Shohyō. The limitation is 200 - this copy is number 128 百弐拾-. Though not a miniature book by Western standards, in Japanese terms it is a mamehon 豆oe. Volume I has A - I, Vol II has J - R and Vol III features S - Z. Original stencil print Ex Libris on the right side features the letter of the English alphabet with a noted person's name in English, with Katakana below it and Japanese characters underneath. Facing page features a design in color reflecting the individual's discovery, work or position. The Alphabet begins with Aisopos, Balzac, Chekhov, Dostoevskii and Edison in Book 1, continues with Jenner, Kant, Liszt and Mozart in Book 2 and ends with Whitman, Xenophanes, Young and Zola in Book 3. Kanzaki's artistry with katazome / kappazuri-e (stencil) technique is well-known and beautifully represented in these volumes. Each housed in a chitsu with clasp and decorated green and white stenciled front cover and green paper-covered rear boards. Possible erasure at the top of a decorative initial page in the first book. Lovely artwork with good printing in fine condition. .

Kaze (Shohyōshū) 風 書票集 [Wind -Bookplate collection] Kanzaki Onjun, printmaker 神埼温順 Tokyo Gohachi 吾- Shōwa 58 [1983] One of 15 house copies, signed by the artist Kanzaki Onjun 神埼温順 and printed after the distributed edition of 50 copies. Therefore, #58 of 65, inscribed to Imamura Hidetarō. 22 x 16 cm. With 15 tipped-in katazome stencil 型染 printed bookplates. This orihon folding album is illustrated in black and white besides. The bookplates (shohyō 書票) are wonderfully simple and powerful; the book illustrations depict old-fashioned lamps in various forms, a favorite subject of Kanzaki's. Kanzaki Onjun (Sunao) 神﨑温順 (1932 - ) worked in the kappazuri-e (stencil) technique throughout his artistic career and studied under Tabata Kihachi from 1953. In 1990 he had a one-man exhibition in the Takashimaya Dept store in Nihonbashi. Very good. In the original wrapper with printed title slip. .
