Pencil gift inscription dated 1871 on half-title page. Historical society bookplate (2 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches) on front pastedown, with small red withdrawn stamp. Brown endpapers. Hinges split, but binding remains firm. Externally clean (no library signs), with a quite minimal amount of wear. Text reamins almost completely unopened at the top edges. Fifteen page glossary. Very Good.
