A hardcover book handsomely bound in full tree calf with ornate gilt decorations on the spine, boards, and dentelles. The foredges are fully gilt, still quite glossy and smooth, and the endpapers are marbled. Edges of spine and boards mildly chafed. Tiny dent in the lower right-hand corner of the front cover. Early owner's signature on a blank front endpaper, dated 1893. The top corner of page 31-32 is chipped off at the very tip. Otherwise, pages clean and bright and binding quite secure.
