First published in Australia, this is a story about a young girl called Cecilia who visits the Clerk of the Weather with her imaginary brothers, Tibbs and Kiddiwee. They visit the Castles of the Four Winds, the Himalayas and the Blarney Stone. Harold Gaze (1884-1963) was a New Zealnd-born children's author, illustrator and artist. He was among the most popular children's fantasy authors in Australia, and lived a large portion of his life in Southern California.. Several name and address stamps of a former owner on several pages, and some childish drawing on the final two blank pages, else near fine; all illustrations bright and clean, otherwise unmarked, hinges strong, tight, square, and clean.
