Introduction by Louis Untermeyer. The text is reprinted from that of the Fourth Edition of Browning's POEMS, published in 1856; the sonnet now numbered XLII was included in the series for the first time. Embellished with charming decorations in red, blue, and gold by Valenti Angelo, applied to the sheets through silk screens. Copy #1420 of 1500 SIGNED by the artist on the colophon page.
