First edition, complete in three volumes (hardbacks). 8vo, xvi, 219pp, 323pp; vii, 547pp; vii, 472pp. Volumes 1 and 2 are bound in matching full brown calf, volume 3 is bound in half black calf. Bindings rubbed, upper board of volume 2 detached, title page of volume 3 missing, fraying to the upper joint of volume 3, contents of all three volumes very good. This volume was originally planned in two volumes, but was extended to three volumes in the year of publication. Volume 1 covers the counties of Bedfordshire through to Dorestshire, and also includes the 219pp sketch of constitutional rights. Volume 2 covers the counties of Durham through to Suffolk. Volume 3 covers the counties of Sussex through to Yorkshire, and the Cinque-Ports.
