Illustrated by Gabriel Pippet, a British artist, illustrator and wood carver influenced by the Pre-Raphaelites, the Arts and Crafts Movement, and medieval manuscript design. In the original pictorial paper covered boards. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and bumping to the extremities. Ink marks to the front board. Internally, firmly bound.
