BLUMBERG, IRVING; INTRODUCTION BY PAUL BLUMBERG
The Wind That Blew from Canarsie - Stories, Essays and Poetry
Flushing, New York, Self-Published by Paul and Robert Blumberg at The Print Center, Brooklyn, NY, 1982. 1982, 1st Edition. Hardcover with dust jacket. Hardback, 8vo, 280 pages, Near Fine in VG to VG+ dj (dj in new protective mylar). Book entirely clean and sound. DJ light signs of wear, couple of short edge tears and a few nicks + a quite minor amount of soil, which may yet clean up a bit. Two photo portraits of author - frontis and front panel of dj. (At least presuming both are of the author with the frontis showing a bit of aging and an added moustache.) Vintage Brooklyn street photo on back panel of dj. Fictional family, as well as the author in real life, moved from New York to Minneapolis in the 1920's. Author attended Minneapolis North High School. Author (died in 1948) worked with his wife in the Minneapolis NAACP in the 1940's. Fine/Very Good.
