Limited edition, no.84 of 526 copies, folio, pp.XVI (unpaginated full colour facsimile),(vii), quarter black morocco, gilt, marbled paper-covered boards, t.e.g., frontispiece and pictorial title, 16 plates; ex library but unmarked save for white-lettered stamp reading ‘Quarto MA’ and small re-coloured section both to front board, and vestiges of a small removed plate to lower corner of rear paste-down endpaper, pale foxing to prelims and occasional spots to margins of plates, pale foxing to fore-edges, a very good copy, housed in vg marbled slipcase, which has light wear to corners and small area of loss (3 x 2 cms) to paper covering at corner of base panel. ‘Printed on Arches pure rag paper made to match that used by Blake. Each page is watermarked with Blake’s monogram. The illuminated pages were reproduced in Paris by Trianon Press in the workshops of MM Hourdebaigt and Crampe by the collotype and stencil process. The binding by Engel, Paris.’
