There is a letter by Dr Livingstone glued to the inside of the cover dated 1851 to The Church Magazine of St Andrews, Clapham Common with regards a Robert Hamilton. This letter was written when he was extremely ill. The letter is typed so one assumes it appeared in the magazine. Used: Acceptable.

Chalmers has been called 'Scotland's greatest nineteenth-century churchman&apos.A very scarce volume of Edinburgh publishers Oliphant, Anderson and Ferrier's 'Famous Scots Series', of which forty-two works were published between 1896 and 1905.
