Henry Bett considers their connections to myths and traditions, and explores the use of numbers in rhymes and stories, as well as focusing on particular nursery rhymes and stories such as 'The House that Jack Built&apos. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, cloth is very smart and bright with very minor shelf wear to the extremities. Front hinge is slightly strained but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are mostly bright and clean except for the odd spot. Dust wrapper is smart, with just some sunning to the spine and a little chipping to the head and tail of the spine and to the folds. Very Good Indeed . Ill.: Not Stated.
