The Rev Dr Alexander Crombie (17 July 1762 Aberdeen – 11 June 1840, York Terrace, Regent's Park, London, England) was a Presbyterian minister, schoolmaster and philosopher. Cloth binding with decorative blindstamped detail on front board and gilt title detail on spine. Externally, a trifle rubbed with fading to the spine and bumping and wear to extremities. Hinges slightly strained but firm. Internally firmly bound, pages bright with scattered light spotting and a few handling marks. Personal ink stamp to front pastedown and copperplate inscription on endpaper. Good . Ill.: None. Good .
