Good.

Cloth Hard Cover, 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall, Book, 506 pp., a number of illustrations, tips of the cover corners worn and bumped and wear at the top and bottom of the spine and about a 2 & 1/2 inch tear at the bottom edges front and back of the spine, back cover has numerous small blunt point like indentations, gilt spine lettering in very good condition, a lot of foxing throughout and on the endpapers, an ink stain at the fore edge of about seven pages which bled into the edge of the pages and formed a semicircle of ink at the edge margin of these pages, previous owner's signature and date (Dec 27, 1852) on front cover endpaper, the book dealers advertising stamp pasted to the upper corner of the front cover endpaper, covers and pages very tight and book has fairly good appearance - spine color dark brown, gold - CR. Good.
