Minutes of the Hudson's Bay Company 1671-1674

Toronto, The Champlain Society, 1942. limited ed. Hardcover. pp. lxviii, 276, xiii. Royal 8vo. This copy is from the library of The Hudson's Bay Record Society and bears their bookplate on the fep, as well as Hudson's Bay Company rubber stamps to feps and title page. There are remains of small, rectangular labels at the foot of the spine and at the bottom of the ffep. There is also a neatly penned 'vol 5' on the spine (corresponding to this being volume V of the Hudson's Bay Company Series). The spine is a bit sunned and the boards are very slightly scuffed & soiled. Internally, the binding is slightly shaken, but otherwise (and except as noted above), the contents are very clean and unmarked. Overall, still in good plus condition. This copy is No. 56 of a limited edition of 550, issued only to Members of the Society. Top edge gilt. .
