S Together with a scarce second edition of A Treatise on Dyspepsia, or Indigestion; with Observations on Hypochondriasis and Hysteria by James Woodforde. Two volumes bound in one. The first volume has chapters on numerous diseases from Consumption to Scurvy, Gout and Bite of a Mad Dog. The second volume is enlarged and revised with the addition of 'two subjects of great interest' Hypochondriasis and Hysteria which 'constitute an important link in the diversified claim of Nervous Disorders.' With an errata slip tipped-in to last page CONDITION Rebound in cloth. Externally, generally smart but with slight wear and cockling to boards and an institutional stamp to spine. Rear hinge strained. Internally, firmly bound. Bright and generally clean but with institutional ink stamps, slight handling marks and slight offsetting to some pages, particularly to front and rear.
