This edition is signed "Stirling", a relation to John De Stirling who is mentioned throughout the book. Sir John de Stirling was a medieval Scottish knight in English service. In a maroon cloth binding. Externally, smart. Boards are a tad rubbed. A little bumping to the extremities. Some marks to boards. Spine slightly sunned. Hinges a bit strained. Ink signature to recto of front free-endpaper. Internally, binding tender. Pages bright and clean with occasional spot. Very Good . Ill.: Not Stated. Very Good .
