His best-known extant works include the Cellini Salt Cellar, the sculpture of Perseus with the Head of Medusa, and his autobiography, which has been described as "one of the most important documents of the 16th century". The memoirs give a detailed account of his singular career, with his writing showing a great self-regard and self-assertion. Translated with an introduction by Anne Macdonell, a British translator and scholar. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities.
