The letter reads in part: "...En ce qui concerne ' Henry Miller et son destin' de Jacqueline Langmann, nous n' en avons malheureusement pas beaucoup vendu ( 1150 ex.) C'est domage, car c'est un grand livre et j'ai autant d' admiration et d' amitié pour Jacqueline Langmann que vous en avez vous-même. En ce qui concerne les " Entretiens", si vous en voulez lá-bas, il est trè s facile pour moi de vous les faire parvenir, ainsi que les "Books of Friends", mais bien sûr ils sont en francais. Je vous adresse quelques exemplaires [...] Girodias: Le 1 er tome "J'arrive" a eté très bien. L' avez-vous lu? Je vous enverrai d' autres ex. si vous le déssirez. Seulement Maurice croyait en vendre 100,000 . Vous savez, il est comme ca. Je l'aime beaucoup et nous attendons en France le second volume. Hier j'é tais à Rocamadour, Cahors, etc. J'ai bien pensé à vous dans cette grande patrie de l'homme de Cromagnon. Vous vous souvenez sans doute de vos voyages là- bas...." ] .
