On y croisait : James de Rothschild, Emile Picot, le prince d'Essling, Charles Fairfax-Murray, Ivan Orloff, Ernest Quentin-Bauchart, Eugène Paillet, La Roche-Lacarelle, de Lignerolles, Roger Portalis, Henri Béraldi, mais aussi des collectionneurs Anglais, et surtout Américains qui savaient que tout se passait dans le chemin du "passage"." ¶ The famous bookseller and bibliographer Eduard Rahir was employee and later manager of Libraire Damascène Morgand from 1878 to 1920. Emile Picot and James de Rothschild a.o. contributed to these catalogues.
