[London, Peter Mazell 1788?]. Quarto calf (rebacked with original spine preserved); frontispiece, engraved title and 53 plates engraved by Peter Mazell, each with one or two pages of text. Some light spotting or browning but a handsome copy. ¶ An appealing melange with melancholy scenes of ruined grandeur rubbing shoulders with engravings of marine worms (all the natural history plates are of marine life). Issued in parts, the plates date between 1784 and 1788. A second volume or series was added a few years later.
