As the title indicates, a history of the Christian Endeavor Movement in Cleveland, Ohio spanning the years 1886 to 1893. This includes short biographies and descriptions of the actions of the various members of the Christian Endeavor Union in Cleveland, including many photo portraits. With accounts of the actions and efforts undertaken by the group. The Christian Endeavor group was originally started in Portland, Maine in 1881 under the name United Society of Christian Endeavor. The movement grew throughout the US and beyond, promoting interdenominational efforts to contribute positively to the life of the church. It is still active today (Encyclopedia Brittanica). GOOD condition. Moderate soiling, heavier to the rear cover. Some darkening. Corners bumped and creases, with a few tiny tears along the edges. Small, faint pencil notation to the upper right front corner. Interior clean and solid. Good .

Return policy:
