Hardcover, bound in the original half cloth and printed boards, discoloured, shelf ticket to spine, old institutional stamps to title-page, small tear at bottom margin of few leaves. In good condition. ~ First edition. Very rare. The photographs show river crossing on a floating bridge, with horse driven cart and on foot while carrying the gun by hand. They also show transportation of the gun in snow, agility training, various firing position, etc. In 1913 Verberne has published the sequel volume: "Tactisch gebruik van Mitrailleurs, toegevoegd aan cavalerie. Welke mitrailleurorganisatie is voor de Nederlandsche Cavalerie de meest gewenschte?" This rare title is also offered by Librarium. 004-6 .
