Queen Wilhelmina of The Netherlands in the year of enthronement (1898), portrait of Jacob van Campen (architect) and 52 helio-engraved black/white plates (versos blank), featuring details of exterior and interior decoration to the Palace, including a ground-plan. All loose in original portfolio. Dutch language historic and architectural description of the Royal Palace at Amsterdam, designed by Jacob van Campen, published in commemmoration to the enthronement of Wilhelmina, Queen of of the Netherlands, 1898-1948. Descriptive text published in 15 instalments. Originally designed and construced as Amsterdam City Townhall, transformed into a Royal Palace by Louis Napléon, King of Holland 1806-1810, nowadays still in use as a representative palace to the Royal House of Orange Nassau.
