All of Colon's publications deal with vaccination.: Hirsch, vol. II, p. 83: Comp. Wellcome vol. II, p. 375 [an 1801 publ. on the same subjecy]: Published not long after Jenner's cowpox vaccination in the 1790ties became generally introduced.
