Color pictorial label (depicting Peter Rabbit coming and going) on each cover within a blind vertical egg-shaped panel with a straight base. Color pictorial endpapers. A fine copy. Intended by Warne to be one of a series, Beatrix Potter was fundamentally dissatisfied with the finished product and felt the work interfered too much with her other commitments.
