Plus 10 very fine tinted collotype plates printed as detachable postcards, each protected with tissue-guards. Captioned in length at bottom. Original illustrated stiff wrappers. In mint condition. A splendid copy. ~ FIRST EDITION. Most uncommon in such fine condition. The quality of the print in this early edition greatly surpases that of later editions. Also the illustrations are different. Collotype is one of the most accurate and attractive methods of photomechanical tonal printing processes. Highly skilled and expensive process, it cannot produce more than a limited number of impressions.
